Our Story
The Journey of Jason the Frog™ was born at the intersection of family, education, and a simple but powerful question: How can we help children understand the world they are growing up in?
As parents of two young children, the creators of the series, a husband-and-wife team, spent countless hours reading together as a family. While they discovered many wonderful stories that nurtured imagination, kindness, and early literacy, they noticed a gap. Very few books helped children understand AI and emerging technologies in an age-appropriate and thoughtful way, even though these technologies already shape everyday life.
Children hear about AI everywhere, from virtual assistants to recommendation systems, yet meaningful explanations designed for young minds were rare. That realization sparked an idea.
Drawing on their professional backgrounds and lived experience as parents, the founders set out to create a children’s book series that presents AI not as something mysterious or frightening, but as a tool for learning, exploration, and responsible use. From the beginning, the series was designed to be written by people, for people, and created with care, intention, and respect for young readers. Each book is thoughtfully developed, fact-checked, and reviewed by multiple editors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
The result was The Journey of Jason the Frog™, a series centered on curiosity, critical thinking, and ethical understanding.
To bring this vision to life, the creators launched e-Robotic Press, a children’s imprint of IGI Global Scientific Publishing, a respected academic publisher with nearly 40 years of experience supporting research and education worldwide. This foundation allows the series to unite the warmth of storytelling with strong educational integrity.
Together, Dr. and Mrs. Pour created The Journey of Jason the Frog™ to help children explore the world through storytelling while learning about geography, technology, and real-world applications of AI, and while building intellectual independence and ethical awareness.
At its heart, the series reflects a shared belief: when children are given thoughtful stories and the right tools, they can grow into curious, responsible learners ready to shape the future with purpose.
